Wildberries says to offer goods from IKEA’s Russian suppliers

MOSCOW, Jun 17 (PRIME) -- Russian online retailer Wildberries will sell furniture and accessories for home from local suppliers of IKEA, the marketplace said on Friday in a statement.

“IKEA’s Russian suppliers will be able to use the program of support from Wildberries and re-route its channels of sale to online,” the statement read.

The suppliers can sell large-sized items, like sofas and wardrobes, as well as accessories.

“Wildberries offers IKEA’s suppliers a low markup – from 8% depending on the category of goods and the model of sales,” the marketplace said.

IKEA said on Wednesday it will downscale its business in Russia.
